Botox®
Prevention is better than cure. A common mistake people make is to wait for the first lines to appear on the skin, then start Botox® treatment. We recommend starting Botox® before your dynamic lines become static lines, which means expression lines that are present even without any expression.
How does it work?
Botox® temporarily blocks the nerve impulses to the muscles, preventing them from contracting. As a result, the skin in this area is not creased repeatedly. This lack of contraction softens existing lines and wrinkles as well as preventing further lines and wrinkles from forming.
How long does it last?
Results can last up to 3-4 months after treatment.

Can Botox® be used as a preventative?
Muscles shorten when they contract in the face. This causes the skin on top to crease. These creases begin to form fine lines and get deeper over time.
Botox® administered three times a year will prevent these muscles from contracting for the majority of the year, allowing the skin on top some respite and non-movement. This prevents the formation of fine lines and wrinkles appearing.
